The Annual Meeting of Members of Advantage Financial Federal Credit Union will be held on Thursday May 23rd, 2024, at 11:00 AM. The meeting will be conducted both in-person and virtually to enable more members to participate. The in-person meeting will be held at the credit union administrative offices located at:

1319 F Street NW, Suite 500, Washington, DC 20004.

The following incumbent directors have been nominated for re-election on May 23rd 2024:

Sara Turley 3-year term

Michael Greenan 3-year term

Donald Walsh 3-year term

Sara Turley is a Management Analyst with the Department of Veterans Affairs, Office of Asset Enterprise Management in Washington, DC. Ms. Turley currently serves as Secretary of the credit union’s Board of Directors. She holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Tennessee and a Master’s in Public Administration from University of Georgia. Ms. Turley currently resides in Georgia.

Michael Greenan currently serves as Treasurer of the credit union’s Board of Directors and is Chair of the Asset/Liability Management Committee. He has been a credit union member since 1989. He began his Federal Service in 1987 with the Department of Energy while attending the American University MPA program. After receiving his graduate degree, Mr. Greenan began his career with the Department of Veterans Affairs in 1989 as a budget analyst. He became the Director of CAPPS where he was responsible for coordinating and overseeing the Department’s capital investment process and methodology, developing Department-wide policy and legislative proposals regarding effective capital asset management and coordinating and publishing the VA’s annual Construction Budget submission. Mr. Greenan is now retired and lives in South Carolina with his wife.

Donald Walsh spent most of his 33 year career in federal service primarily as a Financial Analyst and Budget Officer with the Department of Veterans Affairs. He holds a BS in Business from Montclair State University, NJ and an MBA in Health Care Management from Baruch College, NY. Mr. Walsh currently serves as Chair of the credit union’s Board of Directors and is a member of the Asset/Liability Management and Budget Committees. He is retired and living in North Carolina.

 

There will be no nominations from the floor and the election will not be conducted by ballot.
